15th Nov 2011

I have had an indeed royal experience in Jodhpur ! On the 3rd Nov, It was the private screening of the polish documentary “Chitraanjali” for which i had scored the music. Maharaja Gaj Singh and Princess, Shivranjini, Polish Minister, Ambassador and delegates, Curator of Meharangarh Fort Karni Singh, German art critic Mr.Klauss, designer Raghavendra Rathore, all present, this evening was about Stefan Norblin, a brilliant polish painter who was in India in the 1940′s and commissioned by the royal families of Rajasthan and Gujarat to hv paintings and designs for the royal palace Umaid Bhavan Palace (where the film screened), Mehrangarh Fort (where i stayed) and the Morvi palace in gujarat. Was great to intoduce the film and begin the evening with one of my tunes in the film before the royal audience… Followed by a grand dinner when Maharaja Gaj Singh asked me to make a concert in the palace! I would like to thank polish filmmaker Malgorzyta Skiba and her husband and cinematographer S.Kumar for this wonderful opportunity to compose for their film and to invite me to jodhpur for the royal film screening!

Then it was time for a  concert in nature… My band, S P A C E played in the Woods Talk Festival in Rishikesh on the 12th nov at 11.30 am by the beach.

Came back with creaking bones coz we trekked and stayed in the bus more than nature but there is a saying you treasure some things most when they are short lived…

Lookin at the mountains while playing wow!!
